*Taiwan International Medical Training Center

Taiwan International Medical Training Center was established on August 29, 2002 by Taipei Hospital of the Department of Health, Executive Yuan. The center offers training and exchange programs for medical workers from allied countries to train in Taiwan. In addition, through the center, delegates and guests from allied countries are also able to participate in health related activities and make significant contributions to the international community. Taiwan’s health initiative has highlighted its dedication to advancing international health awareness. We hope our efforts and unfaltering devotion will convince our allied friends to continue to support Taiwan on becoming a member of World Health Organization (WHO).

Taiwan’s medical expertise and techniques are improving at a speed that catches the world’s attention. According to a well-known survey from Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the health standard of Taiwan is ranked second in the world. It is only behind Sweden and even surpasses Canada, which is ranked third. In the past , the generous assistance provided by allied countries is one of the main reasons that have contributed to the great leap in the field of medicine in Taiwan.
