According to Chinese Buddhist history, today is the holiday that our Lord Buddha reached Enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree at Bodhigaya. Most Buddhist in Chinese culture environment celebrate today by enjoying the rice soup to indicate that the Buddha accepted the kir from Sujata. It’s clearly announced that Buddha renounced the accretion and comeback to the Middle paths!
