大孝與大愛並非不計親人痛苦的搶救到底，而是親切的陪伴末期病人的親人，協助他/她坦然接受疾病，減少他/她身、心、靈的痛苦，協助他/她放下萬緣，安詳往生！

人生終須一死，病人的死亡，並非醫療的失敗，未能協助病人安詳往生，才是醫療的失敗。
