洪啟嵩禪師的心經英譯:
The Sutra of My Heart
The sutra is the heart of the great wisdom which transcends everything.
The freeness-of-vision Bodhisattva enlightens all and saw through the five skandhas which were empty, while living the complete transcendental wisdom. And so, was beyond suffering.
Listen, Sariputra!
Substance is not different from emptiness; emptiness is not different from substance.
And substance is the same as emptiness; emptiness is the same as substance.
Feeling, thinking, willing, awareness are also like this: empty.
Listen, Sariputra!
All are empty; non-beginning, non-ending, non-impurity, non-purity, non-increasing, non-decreasing.
So, in emptiness, there is no substance, feeling, thinking, willing, or awareness.
There are no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body or awareness.
There is no substance, sound, smell, taste, feeling of touching, or thought.
There is no realm for the sense of eyes and other senses, nor even a realm of awareness.
There is no unawareness, nor cessation of unawareness.
Also no senility or death; no cessation of senility or death.
There is no suffering, no cause of suffering, no cessation of suffering, no cessation of suffering path.
There is no wisdom and no achievement. Because there is no achievement.
Bodhisattva, transcending perfect wisdom, is not mind-clouded; Mind un-clouded, is liberated from existence and fear; free of confusion, attains complete, high nirvana.
All Buddhas, past, present and future, transcend perfect wisdom and are supremely, completely and perfectly enlightened.
So Prajnaparamita, the insight of emptiness, is the great holy verse, the wisdom of enlightenment, unequalled and incomparable. It eliminates (all) suffering. This is true and not false.
So, we speak aloud and recite the Prajnaparamita:
Gate Gate
Gone, gone, gone beyond.
Para-gate
All things to the other shore.
Para-samgate
Gone completely beyond all, to the other shore.
Bodhi Svaha
Enlightening wisdom. All perfect.

The Heart of Prajna Paramita Sutra
Translated by Tang Dharma Master of the Tripitaka Hsüan-Tsang on imperial command.
When Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva was practicing the profound prajna paramita, he illuminated the five skandhas and saw that they are all empty, and he crossed beyond all suffering and difficulty.
Shariputra, form does not differ from emptiness; emptiness does not differ from form. Form itself is emptiness; emptiness itself is form. So, too, are feeling, cognition, formation, and consciousness.
Shariputra, all dharmas are empty of characteristics. They are not produced, not destroyed, not defiled, not pure, and they neither increase nor diminish. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, feeling, cognition, formation, or consciousness; no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no sights, sounds, smells, tastes, objects of touch, or dharmas; no field of the eyes, up to and including no field of mind-consciousness; and no ignorance or ending of ignorance, up to and including no old age and death or ending of old age and death. There is no suffering, no accumulating, no extinction, no way, and no understanding and no attaining. Because nothing is attained.
The Bodhisattva, through reliance on prajna paramita, is unimpeded in his mind. Because there is no impediment, he is not afraid, and he leaves distorted dream-thinking far behind. Ultimately Nirvana!
All Buddhas of the three periods of time attain Anuttarasamyaksambodhi through reliance on prajna paramita. Therefore, know that prajna paramita is a great spiritual mantra, a great bright mantra, a supreme mantra, an unequalled mantra. It can remove all suffering; it is genuine and not false. That is why the mantra of prajna paramita was spoken. Recite it like this:
Gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha
